Roman Trip

Year 4 enjoyed a fabulous trip to Chester as part of their recent Roman topic.  There were lots of fantastic activities... being archaelogists; looking at real Roman artefacts; grinding spices and tryong out recipes; creating mosiacs; positioning roof tiles; constructing heating systems; dressing up and searching for facts and details to complete the gallery quiz.  They had a fun day being in the Roman army and finding out how tough it was... including some gruesome facts about how they were trained to fight.
