To appeal against the decision of the local authority not to allocate a place for your child, complete the appeal form and return to us directly at school. 

Appeal timetable below:

1st September 2023 Application process starts
15th January 2024 Closing date for applications 
16th April 2024 Applicants can view the school place offered by logging into their account
16th May 2024 Closing date for appeal applications 
By 18th July 2024 Appeal hearings (on time applicants)

Applicants will be able to submit an In Year application during the summer holidays but will not receive an outcome until schools return (Monday 2nd September).

This process is applicable to all schools, and children who turn up without an application being made will not be accepted.

Other appeals are normally heard within thirty school days from the date the completed Admissions Appeal form is received.

You will be given the date and time of the Appeal Hearing 10 school days advance of the hearing and the school’s statement of its case will be sent to you one week in advance.

You will normally be notified of the panel’s decision in writing no later than five working days of the hearings being completed. Decisions of appeals panels are final and binding on both the Local Authority and the school.
