Scratch Multiplication Game

Lesson: Information and communication technology

Class: Year 4 Year: 2018 - 2019

This term Year 4 were asked to make a multiplication game on Scratch.

Each child chose a partner to work with and decided through trail and error which code they needed to ensure the game worked and was fun to play.

Their game had to include:

  • a sprite that changed colour or size when a question was answered.
  • relevant questions not too hard or too easy.
  • encouraging slogans.
  • Interactive.

Once completed the children had the chance to play each others games and review them.
